Good Morning, Readers!

I've just got to tell you about a funny thing that happened to me last week.  I'd just got home from grocery shopping, and was heading out the front door to put my insulated bag back in the car when I was arrested by a most unusual sight. 

Trotting along the walkway that leads to my front stoop was a medium-sized dog that looked like a cross between a German Shepherd and a Terrier.  Following along behind him was another similar-looking dog.  And behind him was...a white goat.  All of them were traveling in a straight line, one behind the other--and it wasn't like they were running from something.  No...it was more like they were...gamboling.  That's the only word I can think of to describe it. 

Needless to say, I did a double-take, wondering if all these years of writing fiction had finally unhinged something in my brain.  But no--they were really there.  They continued on across the lawn into my neighbor's front yard and disappeared. 

I never did find out the story behind them...but you know there's got to be one.  :) Anyway, it was good for a laugh. 

Just got good news about TANGO'S EDGE yesterday.  That's my new romantic suspense book about an American ice dancer who helps her Russian counterpart (male, of course) defect from his country.  I have a release date...finally!  It will be out on February 14th, 2008.  As soon as I get the copy edits, I'll post the prologue on my website.
